We were greeted by Juan Claude at the airport and he was most helpful. He waited while we filed our lost baggage claim. (Be sure to pack some essentials to take on the plane). He then gave us a tour of the city and took us to the apartment. It was a very nice apartment and met our expectations. The balcony was kind of small but the photos were accurate on all accounts. The first day we visited with a friend living in Paris and he was most impressed with the apartment and the location. As the days went by we understood-the location was great. We were able to to walk to great shops and restaurants and it was close to the Baltobus which took us right to the sites. Highly recommended!

Salut ! We have loved staying in Jean-Claude & Liliane's perfect Marais vacation apartment. The location and amenities (especially a chilled bottle of Champagne on arrival) are lovely and when (not if!) we return to Paris this is definitely where we will stay! A great way to begin your Paris vacation is dinner @ Chez Janou. Walk there and embrace the lively atmosphere and tasty provençal food. The wine merchant (La Carte des Vins) across the Blvd Beaumarchais is attentive, helpful and happy to spend time recommending wine and offering tastes ! Thank you Jean-Claude & Liliane for providing an amazing home base for us in Paris - we will return and highly recommend your apartment to anyone visiting this beautiful city. Kindest regards, Tracey & Jeff

We stayed with my wife and two kids (8 and 5 years old) for 3 nights in July. We enjoyed it very much. Jean-Claude and Liliane were both very nice and helpful. They really make us feel at home, and not as just another tourist. Jean-Claude picked us up at the airport and gave us a great tour by car while the kids were sleeping after a long flight. The apartment is lovely with great views and in one of the most lively Paris arrondissement. It is small but very functional in a nice and quiet building, well furnished and with all the amenities you would need. Everything was just perfect and with nice touches to make our stay more pleasant. We really enjoyed the Bastille Sunday Market, at just two blocks from the apartment. Although we could not use it (because of our small children), there is a very convenient Vélib station (rental bicycles) just in front of the building. Place des Vosges is just two blocks away. What can I say, the location is great. Thank you Jean-Claude and Liliane. We hope to meet you again in a future visit to Paris.
We will be back

Wow what a wonderful time we had in Paris. From the begining of our trip to the end it was an amazing time. First we were met at the train by Jean-Claude and given a tour of Paris then off to the apartment where Jean-Claude showed us all the details about the apartment.I was traveling with my 13 year old daughter and having Jean-Claude meet us really made us comfortable.I cannot say enough about the apartment and its location, we were able to get around so easily. There is also a wonderful gellato parlour right down the street, which we visited at least once a day.We were able to rent a car and drive to the Loire Valley and leave most of our belongings safe at back at the apartment. It truely was a magical trip and I cannot wait to go back and visit Paris and this wonderful apartment.
An ideal place to stay

May 19th 2010 It was a pleasure for us to stay at the Khann’s Marais apartment. There are many things that make this apartment so enjoyable : the views, the location and the quietness of the space are just a few. We have opted to have Jean-Claude meet us at the airport upon our arrival. It was a good choice for us to be met by our smiling, gracious host after a long flight. We had a wonderful time in Paris and the comfort of this apartment was ideal for our stay. Matthew and Susan ARKSEY Seattle WA USA.

We had a great time in Paris and loved the apartment. The views were outstanding. The hosts were great and even though we were 45 minutes late (Paris Shuttle... error, Metro is much better) they took lots of time to show us around the apartment. The Velibs are great and signing up for the week is the way to go. The bike riding can be a little exciting at times but if the French can ride around and look cool in pointy shoes and high heels then we should be able to get by. The 69 bus stops right out in front and is great for getting to and from the major sites. We are recommending this apartment to friends. Thanks again!!
A comfortable stay in a charming apartment

We were more than pleased with our stay in this charming and well appointed apartment. It's a very comfortable and quiet place to return to after a day of hard touring. Everything worked well including now the connection to wireless internet. The many windows make the space light and airy and the views over the Paris rooftops are marvellous. It's a convenient location close to two Metro stops as well as an open air market twice a week. We walked to the Opera Bastille, the Place de Vosges, the Centre Pompidou as well as some lovely small designer shops right in the neighbourhood. When we return to Paris, we would definitely stay here again and would have no hesitation recommending it to friends.

This is a fine apartment with unexpectedly great views out of the windows that bring Paris into each room. It has an efficient layout and the one-apartment-to-each-floor plan of the building offers an extra bit of privacy. The neighborhood is well-positioned to let you enjoy walking to many of the best touring areas. Make the extra arrangement with Jean-Claude to have him pick you up at the airport and give you a personal orientation to the city. The wifi works well for those who need to stay connected. Maybe too well since I forgot to pack up my MacBook's power cord on check-out day. In a beyond-the-call-of-duty service, Jean-Claude collected it and delivered it to me a week later as I was swinging through Paris one last day on my way to the airport. Five Stars just because I couldn't give this place and Jean-Claude a higher recommendation.
